NYSDEC Extends Time to Make Comments on Proposed PBS/CBS Regulations

The comment period for the proposed PBS/CBS regulations has been extended until January 24, 2023.

NYSDEC issued the proposed Petroleum Bulk Storage (PBS) and Chemical Bulk Storage (CBS) regulations in Spring of 2021, and the prior comment period ran from early June to early December 2021.  Any comments previously made have been recorded.

The new comment deadline is 5:00 p.m. on January 24, 2023. Another Hearing has been set for January 18, 2023.
